What does it mean to be a CASA...

So you think you may want to become a CASA Volunteer.  What's next?

  Here is the process:

Step 1 -  You can either call us at 410-638-4938 to speak to someone and get your questions answered OR you can email us at casa@harfordcountymd.gov to let us know of your interest.

Step 2 - Click here to access our online application as well as links to other supporting paperwork needed.  Please print them out, fill them out and either fax, email or mail them to us.

Step 3 - Once we have received your application, you will receive a call from a program staff member to set up an interview.  At that time you can get many questions answered as we get to know you.

Step 4 - Upon completion of a successful interview, If you are still interested, you will be signed up for the next upcoming class.  During that time you will have to go through a thorough background check and successfully complete training in order to become a CASA.

PreService Trainings are primarily held twice a year - March/April and again in September/October
