We make a living by what we do, but we make a life by what we give. —

Every Child Has A Right
To A Safe and Permanent Home

Sadly, many children do not have one. Each year, hundreds of thousands of boys and girls in the
United States are victims of neglect, physical, psychological or sexual abuse in their family. Many children in Harford County meet the same fate. Eventually, they end up in court- where a judge
must decide their future. Their only "crime" is that they have been victims.

Today's overburdened child welfare system - a complicated network of lawyers, social workers
and judges - cannot give the thorough attention each child deserves. There is no one to provide consistent support to these children.

This is where a CASA can step in.
